Hailing from Toronto, Cold Weather Captains are a high-energy rock band known for their funky and eclectic sound.

The band first emerged in 2018 as an instrumental trio before evolving into its current sound and lineup. In 2023, CWC released their debut full-length album, celebrated with a sold-out performance at Toronto’s legendary El Mocambo. Their music has earned recognition from Exclaim!, Canadian Beats, and Indie Boulevard Magazine, including a Best Male Vocals award and nominations for Best Album and Best Sound Production. In 2024, the band was selected as one of the Top 12 acts in 97.7 HTZ-FM’s Rock Search competition.

CWC has performed at major Canadian events and venues including Canadian Music Week, NXNE, Union Summer, the 165th King’s Plate, Markham Village Music Festival, Soul in the City, and Rock Symphony with the Casa Loma Symphony Orchestra.

Cold Weather Captains enter their next chapter with new music that pushes their genre-bending sound further. Their new single, “War,” arrives September 25, 2026.
